Downthrow Eric, Jsin, Justin, and Shawn
Downthrow is a dynamic yet aggressive hard rock band with an intense blend of melodies and an individualistic sound that’s perfectly unexpected. It is the culmination of 4 friends driven to express their true passion for music. There is genuine substance and relevancy in each of the band’s songs. With each member bringing their own unique style and varied musical influences to the band, along with many years of playing and performing experience, the result is a combination of thought provoking lyrics wrapped around aggressive complex guitar work and rippling bass rhythms, all firmly anchored by awe inspiring drumming that breeds an unmistakably original musical creation. While few comparisons have been made to the music, the band has a distinctive style and sound all of their own that sets them apart from other bands on the scene today. This is rock and roll, the way it’s supposed to be done.
The band’s live show is a force to be reckoned with. Downthrow pours all of their energy, aggression and musical prowess into every show, assuring that each song explodes from the stage with a ferocity that cannot be ignored. With a combination of powerful, well-crafted songs and an uncompromising live show, Downthrow is poised to make the music world stand up and take notice. Stay tuned as the story continues...
