This weekend is going to be great for music, home products, performing arts and even wrestling
This week in the Tyler/ Longview area ...
If live music is on your mind this weekend be sure to check out all the great shows in the area. BettySoo and K.C. Clifford will be playing at the Longview Museum Of Fine Arts, Jonny the Saint & the Velvet Hand at the Half Moon Grill & Saloon, Alan Fox Band at Fast Freddy's and Forever Falls, Almost Kings and Soul Stash at Side Pocket.
The Home Products Show is also this weekend at the Harvey Convention Center. It will feature 80+ vendors, have stocked 140+ booths with an array of innovative ideas, products and services available for your building, remodeling and home maintenance projects. Be sure to check it out!
There are a lot of performance acts going on this weekend. Our Town will be shown at the Tyler Civic Theatre Center and 12 Angry Men at Henderson Civic Theatre. Singin’ in the Rain will also be performed this weekend at Tyler Junior College. The production has a 1920s Hollywood setting for the zany, light-hearted romantic comedy about the early days of sound film.
If you want to give-back this weekend and practicing your aim and shoot while your at it, come out to the 2010 Pickups and Pearlsnaps: Tyler Barons’ Gala that Chicken Ranch Shotgun Sports will be putting on. Shooting events are divided into morning and afternoon event. The morning event starts at 9 a.m. with 5-man team sporting clays tournament. The afternoon event includes 5-stand competition, 2-man-flush and powder pigeon. Individual shooters are welcome as well!
A huge event that will be going on at The Oil Palace is the WWE Smackdown/ECW Live Road to Wrestlemania! You will see Live in Action: The UnderTaker, Batista, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk and many more battle it on! So come on out and take part in the fun!
