Stolen Car Leads to Narcotics and Three Arrests
Express Inn arrests
On February 27, 2010 at around 11:20 a.m., Officer R. Martinez located a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the Express Inn at 3120 Estes Parkway. The driver of the stolen 2006 Toyota 4-Runner, 30-year old Deaundre Dejuan Mack of Longview, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Mack told officers he was staying in a room at the Express Inn, so officers went to the hotel room and contacted Mack’s girlfriend, Samantha Farmer.
Inside the hotel room, officers located approximately 10.6 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 1 1/2 ounces of marijuana, a handgun and a variety of pills that were determined to be narcotics. Samantha Farmer and another subject located in the room, Matthew Thomas, were also arrested and all three subjects were booked into the Gregg County Jail.
