CODE and SWAT Seize Cocaine at Same Hotel

Both Davis and Harris were booked into the Gregg County Jail. This was the second narcotics search warrant that CODE and SWAT have served at the American Dream Inn in the last week.

On March 4, 2010 at around 3:00 p.m., the Longview Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team assisted the Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement (CODE) Unit by serving a narcotics search warrant at the American Dream Inn at 2015 East Marshall Avenue.

The SWAT Team made entry into room number 28 without incident and CODE Investigators discovered a quantity of crack cocaine inside.

Investigators arrested two suspects:

Arthur Wayne Davis, date of birth 6-21-1967, of 816 Beaumont Street in Longview. Davis was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.

Jamial Jentae Harris, date of birth 3-09-1988, of 600 West Avalon Street in Longview. Harris was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.
